It's common for kids to be in a group of friends and bulling starts with verbal battering. Always provide a plan for your kids so when faced with this they don't become part of the problem but part of the solution. Role playing is always fun! The kids think it's funny, but can put it into action when and if needed. My daughter started to be bullied by one of her friends and was not sure if she was playing or being mean. Long story short we worked it out :D
I agree role playing is a great resource to aid in the bully crisis. I don't think that the school systems do enough for prevention. If each student was to role play all case scenarios of bulling then just maybe there would be less of it.
